New Research Suggests Cannabis May Reduce Migraine Frequency

A team of researchers in Israel have found that cannabis could be an effective treatment for migraines. Their findings were recently published in the journal Brain Sciences.

More than 60% of the medical cannabis users who participated in the cross-sectional study (145 total) reported a reduced rate of migraine frequency and required less antimigraine medicine while using medical cannabis. More studies will be needed to affirm a correlation between cannabis use and decreased frequency or severity of migraines.
